Norris Update 10-28-10

Norris Update 10-28-10.

Norris had a great day yesterday. Lots of walking and he is healing better than anyone expected. He installs hard surface flooring and works hard physically so he is very strong for a 64 year old man. He is still on the Lock Down Unit; and will be not because of his condition but becasue they don't have a bed on the 4th floor, which is the next step up after open heart surgery.

Norris has been on two walks his morning and it's only 10:30 a.m. He is sleeping now.
It takes a lot of effort to move so it wears him out to walk. He has had to learned how to sit up and get up without using his arms. If he put any pressure on his arms it could split his breast bone in two. I'm Meeting Pam at noon to go up and see him.

Pam is dressing up at Tigger for her school Halloween party today, so she will be in full costume when we go to the hospital. I hope Norris doesn't laugh too hard when he sees her. More information when I return this afternoon.
