Seven weeks from today is Christmas! That's 49 days!  It's time for my weekly Christmas Decoration Idea. Each friday, I will post a new Christmas Decoration. This red lantern is decorated with felt snowflakes, 3/4" Real Red Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, 1/4" Whisper White Grosgrain Ribbon and 1" Double-Stiched Grosgain Ribbon. Battery operated tea light must be used for fire safety. I bought the lantern at Micheal's.

A Cardinal Christmas

Good afternoon, again. I'm on a roll today. It's sunny, 48 degrees here in Kalamazoo, Michigan and I'm enjoying being outside on our back deck photographing my projects and cards to share with you.
Here are three different ideas for A Cardinal Christmas set! I cased the ideas from my fellow demos and don't you love them?
The first card is the traditional red cardinal; the next card is using monochromatic colors and the third card takes the Cardinal to a whole new level by using the blue theme and changing the Cardinal to a Blue Jay!
Products used:
Fri st two cards:
A Cardinal Christmas set; Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White card stock; 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon; Petals-A-Plenty Textured Impressions Folder. The red cardinal stamped with Chocolate Chip Stampin' Pad and was colored with Stampin' Up Watercolor pencil's and Blender pen.
The third card: Rich Razzleberry, Bashful Blue and Whisper White card stock. Image was stamped with Black Stazon ink and colored in with Stampin' Markers. Leaf image was stamped with Certainly Celery Stampin' pad.
I used Stampin' Dimensionals on all three cards and the Big Shot Top Note Die.
I embossed the card stock first then ran it through my Top Note Die.

Thanksgiving Autumn Meadows

Good afternoon! I took advantage of the nice sunny weather we are having here in Michigan and photographed this card on our deck. I've been missing in action due to family flu and other viruses, but I'm back now just in time to share a Thanksgiving card idea. Today, this card is made using very little stamping. Card base is Bermuda Bay and the layers are a variety of Autumn Meadows DSP. I used Chocolate Chip card stock, ink and 3/8 "Taffeta Ribbon. Whisper White card stock was used to stamp the leaf and acorns from the Autumn Splendor stamp set in the Holiday Mini. I finished off the card by using "Happy Thanksgiving" from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set.
Check back today, I'm posting more cards for Thanksgiving and Christmas giving.

Christmas Greetings meets Good Cheer

This is a Christmas card I cased from another Demo. I used it last week at one of my workshops. It's really easy to make and can be made within 20 minutes.
Card base is Real Red; layered with Whisper White and a 1/4" strip of Old Olive card stock. I used the sentiment from Christmas Greetings and the holly is from the Good Cheer Stamp set.
I punched a ornament out of Real Red card stock and embossed it with Gold Stamp, Emboss Powder, and then colored in the holly leaves with Old Olive Stampin' Write and added Real Red to the berries. The Ribbon is Mellow Taffeta 3/8" Ribbon.
Products Used: Real Red card stock (p.156 #102482), Whisper White card stock (p.155 # 100730).
