Butterflies and Buttons Card...Catalogs are here!

BUTTERFLIES & BUTTONS!

I saw a similar idea using real buttons in a craft magazine. I decided to use Stampin' Up! Button Die.
When I saw a card using real buttons, my first thought was it would be heavy to mail and what if one of the buttons were to break. That's when I pulled out the Big Shot machine and used the Buttons #5 Die and then used the Beautiful Wings Embosslets Die for the butterflies. The card base is Whisper White. After taking a couple of dozen photos, I still couldn't get the "pink" look out so I decided to go with it.
I used New Colors for the buttons and butterflies.

Fox and Friends meets Tropical Party

FOX AND FRIENDS MEETS TROPICAL PARTY
When I saw the Tropical Party stamp set I thought of how cute it would be with Fox and Friends stamp set!I was making some children's cards for my aunt and thought some of her great grandchildren would love to get a card like this for their birthday.
Products:
Fox & Friends from Occasions Mini
Tropical Party from Summer Mini # 118515 (w) or 120081 (c)
Green Galore, Whisper White card stock
Stampin' Write: Chocolate Chip, Garden Green,
Stampin' Pad: Creamy Carmel, Summer Sun, and Bashful Blue
Big Shot and Top Note Die
1' Round Punch
Stampin' Sponge

After running the Top Note through the Big Shot, I stamped the palm trees on the Top Note first then the grass. I used  masking technique when I stamped the monkey. I stamped the lion on Whisper White card stock in Creamy Carmel and cut it out and applied it to the Top Note with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I punched a circle with the 1" round punch. Set the circle aside. I used the inside of what was left of the circle and with Stampin' Sponge applied Summer Sun ink to make the sun.  I used a circular motion. Afterward, I placed the punched out circle over the sun and used the Stampin' Sponge again to apply Bashful Blue for the sky.
This is a fun card. I hope you will give it a try.
Happy Stamping!
