You may have see these advertised on television. I bought a kit which includes a special pan to make the pops. These look like lolly pops but they are actually made from cake and decorated with melted candy wafers. I added an extra egg and used milk instead of water and cut the amount of milk in half. The instructions said to add a box of dry pudding to the mixture but I didn't have any on hand. The cake pops came out just great.
Sarah, our 14 year old granddaughter, came over after school today and we made 43 of these cake pops. I did the baking and Sarah did the decorating.
After the cake pops are baked and cooled, and the sucker sticks are inserted and held inside the cake by dipping the sticks in melted candy wafers, the pops need to set in a cool place for ten minutes. After they were set, Sarah dipped them in different colors of melted candy wafers and the rolled them in sprinkles and Heath toffee bits or drizzled them with contrasting melted candy coating.

After the cake pops set, we wrapped each one in plastic wrap and secured the wrap with a twister tie and used two sheets of Styrofoam to secure the pops. They are so yummy and rich tasting.
