All Dressed UP!

Six days until Mother's Day! Here is the first card of the week. I'll be posting a new Mother's Day card idea each day until Saturday. This card was made using Designer Series Paper Rockabilly Specialty # 114o39 and Whisper White card stock # 100730. I love this exclusive pattern which is printed on both sides. I chose the red cherries because it looks so much like Spring and my favorite color is red. I used the Big Shot and the Scallop Circle Die for the dress. See directions at left. After I cut out my dress pattern I added real red 1/4" grosgrain ribbon and a green rhinestone brad from the Circle Ice assortment # 109111. I made a real red purse using the Round Tab punch # 108340. I used the Crop-a-Dile # 108362 to punch the hole for the rhinestone brad. To go along with the scallop on the dress, I used the scallop edge punch # 112091 and used Real Red ink on a Sponge Dauber # 102892 to add interest. I added a strip of Real Red card stock on the right hand edge of the card. The final touch was to attach 3 flowers made from Real Red card stock #102482 using the Trio Flower punch # 109183; three small clear rhinestones are added for the center of the flower. Rhinestones from Hobby Lobby I had so much fun making
this card. I borrow the dress idea from Stampin' Up! Demo, Patty
Bennet.
